At Coastline, we Gather to LOVE God, Group to CONNECT Together, and Go to LIVE on MISSION. Connect Groups are one of the primary ways we build meaningful relationships and grow as followers of Jesus.
FIND YOUR PEOPLE. GROW IN YOUR FAITH.
Connect Groups meet in homes and other locations throughout our community. Some are built around a particular stage of life or shared interest. Others gather simply to share a meal, study God’s Word, pray, and walk through life together.
Every group may look a little different, but the heart is the same:
- Build meaningful relationships
- Grow together in God’s Word
- Pray for and encourage one another
- Live on mission in our community
There is a place for you.
COMMON QUESTIONS
SHOULD I JOIN A CONNECT GROUP?
Following Jesus is not meant to be a solo journey. Connect Groups help people at Coastline build meaningful relationships, study the Bible together and support one another through everyday life.
WHAT KIND OF CONNECT GROUPS ARE THERE?
In these groups, people study the Bible, discuss recent sermons, pray for one another and offer support during difficult times. Most groups are sermon-based, while some gather around a common hobby or Christian book. Together, members make room for spiritual growth, honest conversation and mutual encouragement.
WHEN CAN I JOIN A CONNECT GROUP?
Most of our Connect Groups meet during the early spring and early fall, while other special interest groups meet year-round. Connect Groups are part of Coastline’s mission to help people connect together. Our seasonal Connect Groups meet:
- PRE-SPRING SEASON (February - Easter)
- FALL SEASON (September - Thanksgiving)
CAN I START MY OWN CONNECT GROUP?
YES! We are always looking for people to lead (facilitate) or host (home location) connect groups. There are four simple steps to starting a connect group:
- COMPLETE FIRSTSTEPS CLASS >
- ATTEND A CONNECT GROUP (for at least one season)
- REFERENCE LETTER/EMAIL FROM YOUR CONNECT GROUP LEADER
- CONNECT GROUP LEADER TRAINING MEETING (January and August)
We have found these 4 steps to be very important to duplicate meaningful connect groups that strengthen and maintain the culture that Coastline has intentionally built. If you are interested in starting or hosting a connect group, please contact joe@coastlinegulfbreeze.com
