Run with the Good News this Christmas
Read: Isaiah 52:7-10, Romans 10:8-15

“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace… who says to Zion, ‘Your God reigns’” (Isaiah 52:7).

Isaiah’s words remind us that the beauty lies not in the messenger’s feet, but in the message they carry. In ancient times, messengers ran from the battlefield with news. The watchmen could tell from their pace and posture whether they carried news of victory or defeat. A runner with good news brought great joy to the city.

Isaiah tells us the LORD Himself brings good news of peace and salvation! As believers, we too are messengers, called to share the victory of Jesus (Romans 10:13). Because of Jesus’ triumph over sin and death, we can declare to the world: “Salvation is here!”  This season, as we celebrate Jesus’ birth, let’s share with friends and family the hope and victory He brings.

TAKE A MOMENT TO THINK:
> What makes the Gospel “good news” to you?
> Is there someone you know who needs to hear
the good news of Jesus? Pray for the chance to share it.
