The term "SIDE B" is a common word used in the church community in an effort to grapple with the complexity and confusion of people who identify as Christians and also who identify as gay or lesbian ("gay Christian."). It simply means a Christian that struggles with same-sex attraction.
Lance Ralston explains while this is meant to explain the person's surrender and struggle, it actually causes more issues because it still places one's identity with their temptation or sin instead of simply having one's identity in Christ alone.
